Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions.</span></div> <div><br></div> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li><span>Execute both basic and advanced diagnostic and repair work on all Tesla loop vehicles in our fleet </span></li> <li><span>Utilize a company supplied laptop for diagnostics and online training </span></li> <li><span>Accurately document repairs and inspect and maintain shop equipment, requesting replacements as necessary </span></li> <li><span>Provide direct feedback to The Boring Company’s design and engineering teams to continuously enhance repair procedures and products </span></li> <li><span>Maintain a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful attitude in a dynamic environment Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on vehicles</span></li> <li><span>Execute and verify Lock-out/Tag-out procedures on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems</span></li> <li><span>Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools</span></li> <li><span>Create and manage work orders using web based tools and compile end-of-shift reports</span></li> <li><span>Order shop supplies, tools and parts as needed</span></li> <li><span>Regular check of loop vehicle cleanliness, charging level, and condition before and after use</span></li> <li><span>General labor as needed</span></li> </ul> <div><br></div> <h3><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li><span>High School Diploma or GED.</span></li> <li><span>Valid United States Driver's License.</span></li> <li><span>2+ years of experience professionally operating standard hand and power tools</span></li> <li><span>Professional exposure to at least two of the following: 2+ years of Tesla Service Technician experience, or other electrical vehicle experience.</span></li> <li><span>Ability to pass the Department of Transportation mandated Drug Screening Test</span></li> </ul> <div><br></div> <h3><strong>Preferred Skills &amp; Experience</strong></h3> <ul> <li><span>Experience as a certified Tesla technician</span></li> <li><span>Troubleshooting skills on electrical systems at or above 120V</span></li> <li><span>Proven ability to adapt to new technologies, innovate, follow instructions attentively, and effectively manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines </span></li> <li><span>Section 609 Refrigerant handling certification</span></li> <li><span>Professional experience with working on cars, including autobody</span></li> <li><span>Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.</span></li> <li><span>Proficiency in fundamental computer skills, including web browsing and standard applications such as Excel and Word </span></li> </ul> <div><span><span></span></span></div> <h3><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li><span>Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted</span></li> <li><span>Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces.</span></li> <li><span>Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.</span></li> <li><span>This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.</span></li> </ul> <div><br></div> </div></div>
