About Us:
Osmind is a technology, services, and data company focused exclusively on psychiatry. Mental health disorders are one of the leading causes of death worldwide and are tied to shortened life expectancies.
Yet, we have cause for hope: there have been developments in new psychiatric medications since the first FDA approval in 1954, such as new treatments like ketamine, Spravato, and neuromodulation. Now, there is a growing movement among clinicians, patients, and researchers to close the gap between this scientific innovation and better real-world care.
At Osmind, we serve a network of 800+ independent psychiatry practices across 49 states. We help these clinics effectively provide high-quality care, scale as businesses, and contribute to research with our purpose-built EHR, software solutions, clinician community, and managed services. Our providers are at the forefront of psychiatry, offering innovative interventions and treating some of the highest acuity patients in the country.
Osmind is a San Francisco–based public benefit corporation backed by top investors including DFJ Growth, Future Ventures, General Catalyst, and Y Combinator.
About the Role:
· We are a series B-funded Public Benefit Corporation (PBC) building something that actually moves the needle on the global mental health crisis. (See here for an article our cofounder Jimmy wrote about PBC’s.)
· This is a remote, contract role based in the Philippines.
· As our first Finance Operations Analyst, you won’t just be a number-cruncher; you will be the right hand to the VP of Finance. This is a "ground floor" opportunity to help build the financial infrastructure of a high-growth healthcare company.

What you’ll do

  • Master the Flow: Own the full-cycle of Accounts Payable (AP), Invoicing and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely vendor payments and collections. Support the People team in payroll processing.
  • Monthly Close & Integrity: Support the month-end close process by reviewing departmental allocations and General Ledger (GL) mappings to ensure expenses are accurately categorized for reporting.
  • Financial Reporting: Support the VP of Finance in preparing monthly and quarterly reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Budget Partnership: Act as a finance liaison for department heads, helping them manage their budgets and providing visibility into their spending.
  • Build the Playbook: We are scaling fast. You will help identify, implement, and automate new tools and processes to make our financial operations more efficient.

What we’re looking for

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (BBA).
  • Early-Career Experience: 2–5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role with a US-based company
  • Excel Power User: Highly proficient with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
  • Effective Communicator: Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • “Hustle and Grit”: Start-up mindset, no problem is too small, curious, bias for action.
  • Tech Stack: Experience with various financial system tools.

Nice to haves

  • GAAP accounting experience and knowledge
  • Industry Context: Previous experience in the Healthcare or HealthTech sector (understanding of insurance, HIPAA, or medical billing is a huge plus).
This is a contract role based in the Philippines. Only candidates from the Philippines will be considered.
